Jessica Whang is a Creative Motion Designer and 2D Animator based in New York with nearly a decade of experience creating engaging animations, designs, and visual content for leading brands and multimedia entertainment. She combines technical expertise with collaborative leadership to craft compelling visual stories for clients including Amazon, PepsiCo, L'Oréal, Unilever, Kenvue, Allergan, Disney, and more.
Currently, Jessica works as a Motion Design Lead at Vidsy, where she partners with motion designers, creative leads, and clients to bring creative visions to life while maintaining brand consistency. She is passionate about mentoring creatives helping teams produce their best work.
Previously, Jessica was a Motion Designer at Section4, where she created business education content featuring renowned professors and industry leaders, including Scott Galloway. Before that, she worked at Quidd, designing and animating exclusive digital collectibles, stickers, GIFs, and 3D figures in collaboration with brands such as Disney, Hasbro, Marvel, HBO, and Sanrio. She also worked as a 2D Animator on Comedy Central's web series Tales from the Trip and Pitchin' Impossible. Her experience across advertising, entertainment, education, and digital media has shaped versatility and adaptability to her work.
In her free time, Jessica uses her strong passion for illustration to draw comics inspired by her everyday adventures.
